24 Hourathon – Let’s Read Some Books

Hey all, Dani here.

This is going to be a pretty short post, but I have an announcement.

So, I was wasting time on YouTube a little bit ago and watching TBR videos for the Biannual Bibliothon and then I came across Kellys BookSpill’s video on tips and tricks for readathons, and she mentioned that 24 Hourathon is coming up very soon, and it is a 24 Hour readathon.

This led me to go, okay, why not? Let’s see how many books I can devour in this completely unplanned readathon.

24 Hourathon is this Friday, July 21st. As in…this event starts in a little over a day. No pressure or anything.

You can find more information on Kelly’s video I mentioned and linked to above, or by going to Twitter and searching for @24Hourathon.

I’m going to try and use this particular readathon to squeeze in a few books I’ve been wanting to read for fun, because my review schedule has been pretty hectic since I got back from BookExpo and BookCon.

As I decided on this idea and writing up this post literally like 10 minutes ago, I don’t have a set in stone TBR or anything, but here are some possible reads for the day:

Okay, so obviously I know I won’t get to all six of these books as the 24Hourathon is on a Friday and I’ll be at work for basically the last 8 hours of the event, but these are just a few books I’ve been wanting to read so depending on my mood I hope to read at least a couple of these.

I guess tomorrow I’m going to have to make sure to stock up on snacks and caffeine. I’ll try to post some updates about my progress on Instagram throughout Friday, and I’ll see about writing up a readathon wrap up post for either Saturday or Sunday.

That’s it for now everyone. I’ll be back tomorrow with another book review. If you’re participating in 24Hourathon, let me know in the comments.

    • Thanks! I did pretty well with Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon so I feel pretty good about this, and it is just what I need to squeeze a few for fun reads into my reading schedule, which is great. I definitely need to stock up on caffeine tomorrow though. I always seem to join these readathons last minute.
