Most Anticipated Releases Fall 2017

Hey all, Dani here.

The month of August has flown by, and now it is time to shift focus towards autumn/fall. Where I am we’ll get some cooler days but really it isn’t until mid-October or early November that we really start feeling the chill. Of course I don’t mind the cold all the time. It is really nice for curling up under the blankets and just reading.

That being said, I will put a caveat on my most anticipated list. There are probably some big releases that you will notice are absent from this list. I’m not showing off the upcoming releases where I already have an ARC to read, though I will list them below each month’s pictured titles.

First up we have the releases of September:

Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff (September 5), Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas (September 5), One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake (September 19), A Poison Dark and Drowning by Jessica Cluess (September 19), and The Language of Thorns: Midnight Tales and Dangerous Magic by Leigh Bardugo (September 26)

Also included for this are: Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco (September 19), Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashore (September 19), Null States by Malka Older (September 19), and Invictus by Ryan Graudin (September 26).

Next up is October:

The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur (October 3), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Illustrated Edition by J.K. Rowling (October 3), Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan (October 3), Into the Bright Unknown by Rae Carson (October 10), A Plague of Giants by Kevin Hearne (October 17), The Book of Dust by Phillip Pullman (October 19), and The Empress by S.J. Kincaid (October 31)

Also included in this month’s list are: The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli (October 3), All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater (October 10), and Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao (October 10)

Finally we come to the November releases I’m excited about:

Retribution Rails by Erin Bowman (November 7), Renegades by Marissa Meyer (November 7), Terminal Alliance by Jim C. Hines (November 7), and Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson (November 14).

Also included in this list are: Bonfire by Krysten Ritter (November 9), and The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty (November 14).

All right, well there you have it…all the books I’m eagerly anticipating for the next few months. Let me know in the comments what books you are looking forward to this fall.

    • I read a few of the stories because of getting the sampler, and it is so interesting. And the artwork is stunning. I can’t wait to have the final product.

  1. I love this! I definitely like to be prepared when new books release.
Some of these I haven’t heard of. I’ve already preordered Tower of Dawn and Hunting Prince Dracula. I’ve also put The Last Namsara in my planner so I order that one closer to when it comes out.

    • Thanks! And yes, preparation is certainly important, especially with how many books are being published these days.

I keep a list of book release dates in my binder for all of my blogging information, so it helps me keep track of what to buy and when, and also what to blog about.
