Hey all, Dani here.
All right, here we go with another book tag. I saw this one posted by Jenna over at Bookmark Your Thoughts recently and I just had to add this tag to my blog schedule.
Let’s get started.
Apple Picking: a book on your TBR that looks so great you can’t wait to get into it.
I have so many books on my TBR that just look and sound so interesting and I want to read them, but I have to put them off because of life and scheduling and certain must read new releases.
Corn Maze: a book to get lost in
Not only are these both circus style books, but each circus seems to have winding paths/mazes that allow you to get lost within your magical surroundings
Haunted Houses: a book that scares you
Okay, so this one doesn’t scare me in the spooky haunted house way, but after the way the second one left off and knowing that this is the conclusion to the trilogy, I’m scared of what could happen in this one, and I wasn’t exactly ready to say goodbye to the characters. Then I heard that there will be more books set in this world, so I’m a little more ready to finish this one now.
Pumpkin Patch: the latest book you picked up/purchased
I just picked up this one after work last night.
Scenic Drives: a book that is lyrically beautiful
I’ve only read a few chapters from The City of Brass so far, and only a few pages of The Name of the Wind, but I can already tell that I like the way these are being written/told.
Pumpkin Carving: a book you disliked so much you would carve it up
The Awakening by Kate Chopin. I could not stand it either time I read it in college.
Drinking Apple Cider: a sweet book to curl up with
I figured I had to go with some cutesy contemporaries for this one. They’re just so adorable and they make you feel all nice and warm inside.
Jumping Into a Leaf Pile: a book that reminds me of my childhood
Matilda will always be a staple of my childhood, and she is one of my favorite bibliophile characters.
Scary Movie Night: your favorite spooky read
Having finished HTHAW, I like the ghosts and the curse and the somewhat spooky mystery behind past events all wrapped up together. I can’t wait to read the sequel, which also features ghosts. I like the “spooky” vibe they add to a book.
Costume Party: a book with an eclectic cast of characters
Wonderfully diverse and complex and eclectic characters in each of these. I definitely recommend them.
For anyone who enjoys fall/autumn and wants to do this tag, you have now been tagged.
That’s all for today, so I’ll see you all next time.
