Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon – April 2019

Hey all, Dani here.

I have a short post today, but I had mentioned in a previous post that I would be talking about my plans for another 24 Hour Readathon soon. So, next Saturday, March 30th, I’m trying to participate in Readathon By Zoe, and then I always try to participate in both sessions of Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon.

This time around it turns out that Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon will be April 6, 2019, which means I am doing two of these events in a row. Now, again, I have no clue how much reading I’ll be able to accomplish, especially since this particular event takes place on a weekend that is already busy with hanging out with friends and playing D&D. But I’m still going to try my best.

You can find out all of the details for Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon by going here.

Trying to figure out a TBR for this one is hard. There are a lot of books that I really want to read.

Okay, so if I haven’t already devoured it, I will definitely read The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston. I’m honestly debating if I’ll just pick up Wicked Saints by Emily A Duncan and re-read it or not during this event. I have been wanting to read it again. Then again, I could pick up an e-galley from my NetGalley list and read them. I should read No Country for Old Gnomes by Kevin Hearne and Delilah S Dawson or King of Fools by Amanda Foody, but honestly I kind of really want to read The Gamer’s Guide to Getting the Girl by Kristine Scarrow.

Of course, depending on my mood, I could be more interested in a science fiction type of story, so I could always pick up Once & Future by Cori McCarthy and Amy Rose Capetta, or Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell. One is an Arthurian reimagining, and the other is a Les Miserables retelling, so they both are super intriguing to me.

So I don’t know exactly what I’m going to read yet, but they all sound so interesting that it doesn’t matter. You can keep up with my readathon adventures by following me on Instagram or Twitter…or you can just stay tuned and I’ll talk about the readathon in my Weekly Wrap-Up post the following Wednesday.

That’s all I have for today, but I’ll be back soon with more bookish content.
