Books I Want to Read This Spring

Hey all, Dani here.

Wow, look at this, a post outside of my regular Calendar Girls posts. Okay, so I’m trying to get back into the swing of things, but don’t expect frequent posts just yet, or lengthy ones. I’m still trying to figure out how I’m going to do things now. I’ve been thinking over some changes I want to make, that I’ve wanted to make for a while. So we’ll see what happens.

Anyway, one of the changes I’m making is that I’m no longer going to be posting monthly TBRs, because I wasn’t really following those the last year or so anyway; I was lucky to read two or three books from my plan each month. Instead what I’m going to try and do a sort of seasonal TBR. Basically I’m going to choose five or six books each quarter that I’m hoping to read.

So here we have it…the six books I’m hoping to read this spring. They are each rather large fantasy reads, but with all the D&D I’ve been playing and the mood I’ve been in when it comes to consuming entertainment, these seem like what I want to go for.

My hope is that when it comes to my five or six quarterly reads, I will read them and then have the reviews up sometime in that quarter. So for right now that would be April, May, June. Hopefully I can read through all of these books, because most of them either have sequels that have just released, or sequels that will be coming rather soon. So I’d love to delve into these and hopefully be in a position to read the sequels as well. But again, we’ll see what happens.

Okay, so there we have it. My short little return to the blog. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to keep posting, but I’ll cover my blog goals and such in a future post.
